( beautiful Swiss club residence )

Studio Daminato are a multi-disciplinary firm that specializes in the built environment, they accept commissions to design a range of private residential, commercial, corporate, theatre, retail and hospitality projects. 'Whilst a rigorous architectural approach to space planning, form making and detailing is evident in all of Studio Daminato's work, there is also a constant exploration of design language together with a varied use of project-specific concepts, materials and colour palettes. Along with this is their belief in the longevity of well-conceived design solutions.'
Swiss Club Residence, Singapore - I love this home.
'Interior design and decor for a renovated existing building structure.

Custom-designed fixed and loose joinery, furnishings, fittings and hand-woven floor rugs by Albano are combined with design classics by Hans Wegner, Warren Platner, Eero Saarinen and Arne Jacobsen. These are juxtaposed against a backdrop of oak timber and travertine stone floor and walls, along with a growing private collection of modern paintings, tapestries and sculptures.

( friday's palette - Jade Green and Flesh Tones )

Your Friday colour Palette...
I love the richness of jade green especially when it is paired with wonderful natural tones. I found this beautiful image of this door which I love, but was immediately drawn to the green hues in the window on the left hand side of the door... Just a lovely image that I had to base this weeks colour palette on. As it's the end of London fashion week, I couldn't resist putting this beautiful jade green dress into the mix too. Have a wonderful weekend :)

THANK YOU...
I want to say a huge thank you to my boss Christopher for a wonderful three years at 'Christopher Chanond'. I have so many great memories that I will treasure forever... Thank you. It has been an absolute pleasure working with you, Georgina, Colin and Howie. I will keep in touch for sure... You can't get rid of me that easily. I also want to say a huge thank you for my wonderful Kebnekaise Pouf. So thoughtful that you just know 'what wilson wants', hehehe.
Kebnekaise Pouf is a knitted pouf and the highest mountain in Sweden at 2104 m and is situated in the north of Sweden. Now every child can climb it in the living room! Made in Sweden.

( summer house - natural beauty )

Following on for my weekend away to West Sussex where I was luckily enough to stay in the most beautiful beach front summer house, I would like to continue the theme! I was looking through the e-mag, est, and came across this beauty! WOW! After last weekend, I'm now obsessed with summer houses!
This stunning home belongs to the jewelry designer Charlotte Lynggaard and not surprisingly, it is an absolute treasure. What I love about this summer home in contrast to the comfortable West Sussex home, are the modern clean lines of the interior, beautiful choice of natural materials and finishes, and the mix of aged timeless furniture. The light flooding through the generous windows, gives this gem it's added sparkle.

( wonderful weekend / wonderful home )

This weekend I went down to the south coast for a good friends 30th birthday celebrations. It was one of the nicest weekends I've had for ages. Fantastic company, amazing food, and the setting was utterly breathtaking! We spent the weekend in this stunning beach front property in West Sussex. On entering this home, all 15 of us were totally blown away! I instantly got the camera out and ran round the house being majorly 'snap happy', hehehe. As we arrived quite late on Friday, we just had quite a relaxed first evening in the hot tub (oh the joys of hot tubs) and a glass or three of wine on the beach front terrace. Saturday we were up nice and early and had a full fry-up for our afternoon stroll along the beach. Saturday evening was celebration time... After a beautiful meal cooked by Simon (thank you Simon), we changed the music and danced the night away.
Please take a look at a couple of images of this fantastic home... I wonder what I should do for my 30th? hehehe

( friday's palette - blue and rusty pinks )

Your Friday Colour Palette...
I just had to include this beautiful 'love seat' by Jason Lewis Furniture, in this weeks colour palette. The stunning craftsmanship that has gone into this piece is breathtaking. The warmth of the walnut against the concrete floor made for a great colour palette. This coupled with the fresh mountain crispness and the sweet ice cream images, I couldn't resist. Happy Friday everyone :)

( at home with Tanja Jänicke )

I just love this home - Interior designer, Tanja Jänicke prides herself on simple, beautiful and functional design... and her home is a perfect example of this. Tanja's beautiful 130 square metre Helsinki home, boasts high ceilings and large original windows for that all important natural light... this is the perfect blank canvas for so many Interior Designers.
The white, black and natural palette in her home works so well to create a fresh, bright and comfortable place to sleep, relax, entertain and live. The large table below is the perfect piece of furniture for her regular dinner parties! The contrast between this large dining table and the white walls and floor is incredible and really draws your eye to those very cool logs stacked so perfectly in the corner. The logs are used for the wonderfully modern open fire... They are almost like an art installation in their own right.
I hope you love this home as much as I do :)
